Across India, millions of women remain excluded from economic opportunities and continue to face systemic barriers such as gender-based violence, discrimination, and financial dependency. While progress has been made, the reality is clear – female workforce participation remains significantly lower than that of men, and crimes against women continue to rise, reflecting deep-rooted structural challenges.
For many women, especially those from vulnerable and marginalized communities, lack of access to education, skills, and safe livelihood options traps them in a cycle of poverty and exploitation. Without financial independence, breaking free from these conditions becomes nearly impossible.
Berojgar Mahila Sewa Samiti (BMSS) is addressing this challenge at the grassroots level through structured, impact-driven interventions. Our programs focus on skill development, vocational training, rehabilitation, and livelihood generation -equipping women with the tools they need to become self-reliant and economically independent.
From supporting survivors of trafficking and exploitation to enabling women in rural and tribal communities to access sustainable income opportunities, BMSS is committed to restoring dignity and creating long-term change. Each initiative is designed not just to provide immediate support, but to build a pathway toward stability, confidence, and independence.
