Berojgar Mahila Sewa Samiti

Berojgar Mahila Sewa Samiti (BMSS) is a non-profit, non-partisan and non-sectarian organization which is registered under the society registration Act 1973 (C.G.) in 1986. The registered office of the BMSS is located in Bhilai, Durg district of Chhattisgarh. Presently, BMSS is working in 7 states (Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Assam) in PAN India and serving to vulnerable target populations.

BMSS is a professionally managed, forward looking, catalyst organization that designs & delivers customized, innovative and self-sustaining development programs, which are replicable and create social impact. It has carried out development work of over INR 3.5 Cr in last year with the kind support of its partners.

Vision of BMSS

Together we will build a future where underprivileged children, youth and women are able to access all opportunities and lead a life of their choice. To implement social welfare and poverty alleviation projects through an intergraded approach of economic, social, political and ecological spheres to bring sustainable change.

Mission of BMSS

To empower women and children by educating them about their rights, health, hygiene, water, sanitation, sustainable livelihood, etc. so that they can lead a dignified life. To create awareness and capacity building about the prevention and cure of HIV/AIDS and other diseases.

Transparency

BMSS is transparent in its dealings with all ecological players like government, the public, donors, partners, beneficiaries, and other interested parties. Basic financial information, governance structure, activities, and listing of officers and partnerships are open to public scrutiny and it will make effort to inform the public about its work and the origin and use of its resources.

Accountability

BMSS is accountable for its actions and decisions, primarily to the community it serves, and also to its funding agencies, the government, staff and volunteers, members, partner organizations, and the public at large.

Responsible

BMSS will be responsible in its dealings with its donors, project beneficiaries, staff, members, partner organizations, government, and the general public at large.

BMSS works in partnership with concurring stakeholders to achieve its goal of alleviating poverty and supporting empowerment of underprivileged communities.
